Blake Lively Commends Hoboken Cafe’s Irresistible Dessert Amid Filming
Actress Blake Lively, currently engaged in the filming of the romantic comedy “It Ends With Us” alongside actor/director Justin Baldoni in Hoboken and Jersey City, took a moment to appreciate a local business.
Lively, who has been filming in the area for over a year, recently expressed her approval for the delectable cinnamon buns at The Hive, a coffee shop located on 10th Street and Park Avenue in Hoboken, close to the movie’s filming location.
Known for their generously frosted cinnamon buns, The Hive often attracts long lines, especially on weekends. Recently, the cafe introduced a new blueberry-filled variety, which seemed to captivate Lively’s taste buds.
In a social media post on Friday, Lively showcased four of these mouth-watering buns and emphasized the importance of starting the day with a balanced breakfast during long working hours.
The owners of The Hive shared details about the popular cinnamon buns on social media, explaining that they are made from scratch and served fresh on weekends, with additional availability on most Fridays. The demand for these rolls is high, with lines forming as early as 7:15 am for the first batches that bake at 8, 8:30, 9, and 9:30 am. The wait time can range from one to two hours, depending on when customers join the line. To ensure fairness, customers are limited to a maximum of four rolls, and pre- or online orders are not accepted. The rolls are typically sold out by 9:30-10 am.
Despite the demand, The Hive encourages patrons to be courteous to their team, neighbors, and fellow customers, making way for others in the busy cafe.
As filming for “It Ends With Us” continues in Hudson County through January, the local cafe remаins a favorite spot for the cast and crew.
