Wiz Khalifa unveils new clothing line influenced by son Sebastian: ‘He inherits my fashion sense’

Like a father, like a son!

The rapper Wiz Khalifa is working with the clothing store Junk Food Clothing in L.A. to create a father-son line based on his own 3-year-old son Sebastian. PEOPLE has the first look at the collection, which is called BASH By Junk Food after Sebastian’s nickname.

“Every design is based on Sebastian and the things he likes to do in his free time.” Khalifa, 29, tells PEOPLE, “I just really wanted it to feel different for him, so when he sees it, he gets excited.” “Since he’s only 3, he might not get what it means to have his own clothing line.” Yet, the fact that all of his favorite things are on his clothes makes him feel unique and the things he’s wearing are fun for him.

Khalifa says that his and Sebastian’s favorite piece in the collection—which includes shirts, hoodies, accessories, and a bomber jacket—is, of course, something that only they can choose.

The rapper says, “I think my favorite piece was the pumpkin sock because he loves pumpkins so much.” “He loves Halloween and scary things, and the pumpkin design was really cool.”He also says that the clothing line was a natural project for him and Sebastian, who he had with his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose in 2013.

Khan says, “I shop with him a lot, and we often match.” “He definitely has my style.” Everyone tells me that store-bought clothes make him look so fresh, so we’re making his own now.

Khalifa says his style hasn’t changed since having a child.

Khalifa’s kids have picked up his sense of style. “I’ve always liked to dress in fun and comfortable clothes, and if anything, it’s grown up with me; it’s just gotten more mature as I’ve gotten older,” he says. “I like being able to grab something quickly and go.” Having a son has taught me how to quickly get ready and be happy with what I’m wearing.

The BASH By Junk Food capsule collection will go on sale October 15 and will cost $35 to $50 for kids and $45 to $80 for men, except for the bomber jackets, which will cost $150 and $250, respectively. The clothes can be bought at the store’s flagship location in Venice, California, or online at JunkFoodClothing.com.
