Latto has been linked to 21 Savage rumors for a while, but both singers have denied being together in the past. But some of the songs on her new record, Sugar Honey Ice Tea, make romance rumors even stronger.

 

The Atlanta rapstress recently talked to Ebro Darden and made it clear that she has no plans to say who her boyfriend is. Instead, she told Darden that fans can “listen to the music” to find out.

“I’m a dime and ni**a twelve the way they out here tryna cuff,” the 25-year-old raps on the album track “Good 2 You.” On “Settle Down,” she spits, “Lay a ho* down and lay up with a savage.” Both lines could be a play on the rapper’s stage name, “Redrum.”

Latto told Ebro, “The internet don’t know a goddamn thing, let’s start there” as a hint about their friendship. I like having my own space. No one should really care about it. You’ll understand what I mean if you listen to the sounds.

 

The rap artist from “Sunday Service” also told Ebro that it makes her feel like “a simp” to talk about her love life in public.

When asked if it was hard to write love songs, she said, “When other people are in the studio, I feel like a simp, and I’m so not a simp.” “When I was in that zone, it wasn’t hard, but when someone is there, I feel like a sucker.”

 

She did say, though, that she needs to “let that ego go.”She told Cosmopolitan last year about her secret man and went on to say why she likes her privacy.

“Everything else has to be front and center in my life,” she told the pub as their July/August cover. “If something is important to me, I’ll keep it close.” “We may sometimes find beauty in being apart because it makes us miss each other.”

 

It was more important to her to be alone than to see him in the crowd. People putting two and two together is not okay with me. I’ve never been in a relationship this long before.
