Taylor Swift has reached yet another important point.

With an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion, the 34-year-old pop singer has surpassed Rihanna to become Forbes’ 2024 list of the richest female artists.

Swift is said to have become a billionaire in October, in part because of her successful Eras Tour and the value of the songs she owns. Forbes put the “Shake It Off” singer at No. 14 on their list of the World’s Billionaires in April, with a net worth of $1.1 billion. She was the first artist to make the list based only on her songs and concerts.

Rihanna, on the other hand, is thought to be worth $1.4 billion thanks to the success of her Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty brands. At a glance, the 14-time Grammy winner’s wealth looks like it’s made up of $600 million in royalties and tours, another $600 million from her owned music catalog, and about $125 million in real estate.

Swift will start the last part of her Eras Tour on October 18 at the city’s Hard Rock Stadium, where she will perform for three nights. After that, the singer will go to New Orleans, Indianapolis, and Toronto, and on December 8, she will end her tour in Vancouver.

In September, Taylor Swift made news when she backed Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign for president, right after Harris and former President Donald Trump’s debate on September 11.
