A young fan had a seizure after getting into a fight with security guards at last night’s rap show at Marvel Stadium.A fan was reportedly knocked out by a security guard’s fly kick at the Melbourne concert arena, and video on social media seems to show this.
Over 55,000 people came to Marvel for the second night of Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus show.It is thought that the fight started when fans from a seating area started jumping the fences to get to the mosh pit quickly.”He’s landed like on the ground and it looked like he’s hit his head as well, so the security guards just jumped on him straight away and actually tried to pick him up,” Alex said.
“That’s when you can see he’s like shaking and then they lie him on his side and that’s when you realise he’s having a seizure.””Everyone was a bit on edge and, you know, it kind of took a toll on me and my girlfriend, just like being a bit uncomfortable.”The young man was taken care of by St. John Ambulance and was being carried away while sitting up.Authorities say that he was one of five concertgoers who were taken to the hospital last night.
Police said they were at the event, but no one was arrested or filed a report. A representative for Marvel Stadium said that the event would be followed up with a debriefing with the security companies. While most of the fans acted properly, some were turned away or kicked out for bad behavior, according to a spokesperson for Marvel Stadium, Jay Allen.Scott’s events are known to have rowdy crowds. On the first night of the Melbourne shows, fans threw up barriers outside of Marvel Stadium.
