Wiz Khalifa has just shared a captivating insight about one of his biggest hits in his collection.
In his recent appearance on Drink Champs, the Taylor Gang founder shared insights on various subjects, including the triumph of tracks like “Black & Yellow” and the story behind bringing Ty Dolla $ign onto his label. During their conversation, Khalifa touched on the creation of his blockbuster hit “See You Again.” The artist from Pittsburgh shared that the song started as a heartfelt tribute to the late Paul Walker, initially including a verse from Lil Wayne and a chorus by Chris Brown.
“The hook was already in place, and the concept for the song was to feature numerous artists,” Khalifa shared. “A verse by Lil Wayne was featured.” It seems that Chris Brown was brought in to handle the hook too. The track featured a variety of artists, but after a process of refinement, it ultimately showcased just my verse alongside Charlie’s captivating hook.
Wiz shared insights on various topics that piqued his fans’ curiosity, including the recent controversy surrounding his feet and his collaboration with former adult star Mia Khalifa. He disclosed that they are collaborating on his cannabis brand, Khalifa Kush, with assistance from Berner.
